Who this covers

This policy applies to everjoybookkeeping.com and to information collected through this website by EverJoy Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping practice based in Palm Bay, Florida.

Financial records handled as part of a client engagement are governed by your service agreement, not by this website policy.

What EverJoy collects

Through this website, only what you choose to send:

• Contact form submissions — your name, business name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the bookkeeping situation you select, the services you're interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
• Scheduling requests — if you book a consultation, that booking is handled by Calendly, which collects the information needed to schedule the meeting. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that data.
• Basic server information — like most websites, the hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.

• Email and, for clients, QuickBooks Online and any payroll platform used in your engagement
• Anyone required by law, if EverJoy is legally compelled to disclose information

Client financial information

Client bookkeeping work is performed in QuickBooks Online and, where applicable, a payroll platform. Access is limited to what's needed to do the work. EverJoy does not use client financial data for any purpose other than providing the agreed services.

Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect the information handled here, including working in established cloud platforms rather than local files, and limiting who has access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee can be made.

Please don't send sensitive information — Social Security numbers, bank credentials, full account numbers — through the website contact form. If sensitive documents are needed, you'll be given a secure way to share them.

How long information is kept
